SALVATION

WE BELIEVE SALVATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST FOR ALL MEN

Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

HOW DOES SOMEONE BECOME SAVED?

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Romans 10:9-10

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

John 5:24

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Revelation 3:20

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."

A PRAYER FOR SALVATION

"I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe He died for me on Calvary's tree, bearing my sins for me. I believe that He rose from the dead and is alive right now.

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my life now! Come into my heart now.

I believe in my heart, therefore, I say with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior. And I am, right now, born again."

If you just prayed the prayer above you are now born again. Nothing miraculous may have happen to you as you prayed and you may not feel any different from the way you felt two minutes before you prayed. But make no mistake, you are saved. Don't let anyone or even yourself convince you otherwise. When you leave this life, heaven will be your home.
